Building Root Protection

New roadways often pass nearby existing trees and through RPA’s. In this situation a connecting piece was needed between a new access way and existing hard surfacing. RootBridge was used to construct the connecting piece as it met the no-compaction requirement whilst fitting in without the levels of the new road needing to be adjusted. The installed system was filled with sand to help match it in as well as to stop the roadway it joins from undermining.
